"Aydın-Gün Prize" by Istanbul Culture and Arts Foundation

Istanbul Culture and Arts Foundation has awarded Alican “Aydın-Gün Prize”, which is given every year to a promising young musician under 30 years of age.

1st Prize at the Max Rostal Competition 2015

In May 2015, I was awarded 1st Prize at the Max Rostal Competition. I was also awarded audience prize, as well as the prize by the Freunde Junger Musiker Berlin e.V.

The finals took place with the Konzerthausorchester in Berlin, conducted by Ryusuke Numajiri, where I performed Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, which was broadcast live by the Kulturradio Deutschland.

1st Prize at the 22. Concorso Postacchini 2015

In May 2015, I won my first international awards at the Postacchini Competition in Fermo, Italy.

I was also awarded the Medal of the Italian Presidency, as a result of being chosen the “vincitore assoluto” (Absolute Winner) of the whole competition.

In the finals, I performed Sibelius Violin Concerto with the Filarmonica Marchigiana Orchestra, conducted by Romolo Gessi.
