Born in 1992, Turkish violinist Alican Süner is winner of 2015 Max Rostal and Postacchini Competitions, as well as the Medaille of the Italian Presidency. Honoured with many other awards in his country, the young violinist already performed as a soloist at important European concert venues; incl. Konzerthaus Berlin and Leipzig Gewandhaus.
Alican Süner was a member of the Karajan-Academy of the Berliner Philharmoniker, where he took lessons with the 1. concertmaster Noah Bendix-Balgley. German Music Foundation provides Süner with a 1700 G. Testore violin from the German Federal ownership. He has been appointed 1. concertmaster at the Komische Oper in Berlin in the 2019/20 season.
